What we are looking for:

We are currently in search of a Software Developer with junior to intermediate level of experience to help us maintain and expand our product suite, including desktop, server, and web-based product components. This position is made possible via a government grant program for Youth Employment. To meet the criteria for the grant program, the candidate must be under 30, have graduated from a college or university program in STEM, and currently be under-employed (e.g. not working in their field or not working full-time).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new and existing products 
  • Participate in the design of new and updated features 
  • Collaborate with other developers as well as other teams to ensure successful delivery 
  • Work within existing Agile-based processes to track work effort & progress 
  • Perform and respond to code reviews 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree (College or University) in STEM
  • Some programming experience (work, education, or personal)
  • Ability to communicate clearly 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Preferences:

  • C#/.NET development experience
  • Knowledge of programming for the cloud (e.g. MS Azure)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems such as SharePoint, Content Server, Documentum, etc 
  • Experience in an Agile-based development environment
